The study, published in 2009 in Nature Geoscience , one of the top journals in its field, confirmed the conclusions of the 2007 report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) .

This is the 25th year of this important exhibition – widely accepted as the most important event for all those who are engaged in making leather. During the three days – 31-2 March April 2009 – participants, exhibitors and buyers receive a “once-a-year opportunity” to correct what is new, see the latest trends, find new business partners, industry and exchange gossip. There is no greater esteem Trade Show, or more popular than APLF – Materials, Manufacturing & Technology (MM & T). The previous event, which lasted more precisely the same dates earlier this year welcomed more than 1120 exhibitors from 56 countries and regions which, in turn, is welcome 19,500 buyers from almost all countries. Even at this early stage, the prospects for 2009 indicate similar, if not slightly higher in all the numbers of exhibitors and buyers. Synthetic materials, components and accessories of MM & T moves to Hall 3 at the Great Hall and Hall 2, putting them on the same plane as the area of skin. 2009 will once again feature an extensive program of seminars and special areas of trend forecasting – in materials, design and color for seasons to come.
