Termination due to health

i was an employee at TD Bank from August 2009 until October 2009. I was terminated due to me not being able to come in to work because I had surgery two days prior and i attempted to go to work but i was physically unable to even get dressed.The doctor said before i called out that i would not be able to work this weekend and would be able to provide a note but it was already too late. The doctor that performed the surgery stated that if i would have waited until i had earned paid time off which would have been in late november early december I would have to stay in the hospital for two weeks because the condition would have gotten a lot worse than it already was

Hey, I was right all along

three years ago my mom had a triple bypass, they said she had age onset diabeties, so for three years she has been on meds for that, I have questioned it ever since,,,well yesterday I took her to the cardiologist for her checkup and asked her,,,she said Nope, she dosent have Diabeties and probably never did, her sugar levels were elevated because of the surgery at the time,,,soooo Im going to raise heck with her regular doctor soon and get her off some of these meds, I just think they have her on too many for no reason,,,   The Cardiologist even suggested we drop one blood pressure pill, she is on 3,,,we shall see.

My Brother’s Surgery Is Today PLS Say A Prayer UPDATE: MSG 16

I had came to you in November when my brothers first surgery was scheduled  to remove the 3  brain tumors....when he went for his pre-op it was cancelled because of 2 blocked artery's in his heart....he had to have surgery on his heart at that time to put stints in....he then fought a battle with H1N1....during all this time his has suffered with massive headaches....and not being able to see very well....His surgery to remove the tumors is this morning....Please I am asking for your Prayers again.....that he comes through the surgery and that there is no cancer....He is My Baby Brother and Very Dear To Me.......I know here in the Coffee Shop All My Dear Friends will send the Prayers we need  right now from your hearts to the Lord....and we all know the Power of Prayer....Thank you, Love You All, JT....

emergency alarms, bracelets, etc

How many have them or use them?  Any family members have them?   A week ago saturday, My BIL, had what turned out to be strokes....He was alone downstairs shutting down his computer and fell off his chair, crawled to his bedroom and caught his breath etc.  Next day he mentioned it to my sister and she advised seeing a doctor which he did.  Tests showed he had had a stroke and also had a blockage in an artery in his neck which they treated and he is home now

Premier of Canadian Province goes to US for Heart surgery!

It appears that Canadian health care, even for the upper levels of society, is not what it is cracked up to be. Although it looks as though there is a specific specialist he wants to do the surgery Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams is not saying why he is not having the surgery anywhere in Canada. I think we all know the reason but I am sure he will have some rationale for it to quell the controversy already brewing in his own province.

Weekly weigh-in #20

Wow!  20 weeks.  I still can't believe it!  Well, I thought that this week was going to be bad, because I haven't been feeling to hot.  Nothing serious, just crummy...anyway I had weighed myself during the middle of the week and my weight was up to 227.  That was half a pound more than last week.  But when I weighed myself it said I was 225 .  That's great!  So officially, that is my weight for this week.  I'm still up a pound from two weeks ago (I think...), but I'm sure it will go down.  Officially I've lost exactly 25 pounds.  Boy, getting to 30 is kind of tough at this point...

Look around and you will see that celebrity plastic surgery is everywhere. Enhanced breasts, nose surgery, eyelid surgery and liposuction are the norm in Hollywood. While living in the spotlight can provide opportunities and advantages, the darker side of living life on the red carpet is that celebrities are under constant scrutiny and are pressured to maintain a youthful appearance. Some celebrities continue to go beyond reason in having plastic surgery procedures. Is it because they are unwisely shooting for perfection or for immortality? The enticing lure of prestige drives average citizens and doctors to do things they might not normally do.
