Deep tissue massage

 My sister and a friend of hers (I've known her since we were teenagers, too) came over yesterday for the super bowl.  Our friend knows how to give massages and my sister reminded me of that.  So our friend gave me a massage.  My back and neck have been really sore lately.  Anyway, I was expecting a relaxing soothing massage, but she gave me a torturous deep tissue massage.  Oh my god, I am so sore today and my back and neck are bruised!  Black and blue all over my back.  She said my muscles were all really tight, and I believe her.  But hold cow, I'm so sore.  And exhausted!  Between the weekend I've had with my parents' anniversary and going out with them one night, then them coming over for a dry-aged rib roast dinner (the BEST roast I've ever had in my life!!!) and then the super bowl party I had, on top of this massage I have been so tired today.  I haven't even done anything today, except get something to eat.  I'm feeling a little better now. Might get the kitchen cleaned up...later... :smileytongue: Next time I will go to my daughter-in-law who is in massage school and get a soothing massage...when my bruises are gone.  Maybe I can work my way up to a deep tissue massage
