Ooops, Babs……. watch that "over-heated rhetoric"

I think Bill Clinton should definitely take note of the "over-heated rhetoric" used by Senator Barbara Boxer during a campaign rally in California, yesterday.    http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-politics/20100419/US.Obama/   After all..... "words matter", and Babs should obviously refrain from encouraging her supporters to " battle back " and quit using pugilistic expressions like " go toe-to-toe ", which are a clear reference to fignting.  Isn't she concerned that some whacko will take her words as license to resort to physical violence?   Speaking of words mattering.......

This is what happens when I don’t have coffee

The way I see it, if I have to suffer without coffee, you all can suffer with these jokes. :smileyvery-happy:   One morning, a grandmother was surprised to find that her 7-year-old grandson had made her coffee! Smiling, she choked down the worst cup of her life. When she finished, she found three little green Army men at the bottom.

If I had $10,000.00

I was sitting around with friends at Starbucks having coffee when the discussion came up on how to solve the economic situation this country's in.  We all remembered the T.V. show back in the early 60's call "The millionaire".  The premise was what would people do if given a million dollars.  We came up with this novel idea that everyone would receive $10,000 (children included) to do as they felt.  This money would be subject to state and local taxes but exempt from Federal taxes.  Here's my question:  "What would you do if you were to receive this one-time payment?"  THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DISCUSSION BUT A PERSONAL ASSESSMENT OF HOW YOU WOULD MAKE USE OF THE MONEY.  It is simply a clear statement of your choices.  I am interested in seeing some thoughful replies that I can take back to my friends.  You may look at this as a serious ssurvey of how the "Man on the street" applies (uses) this money.  My little group is interestred in how money flows through our system and what positive or negative effects it has on our society.
