Comcast news headlines today: RNC winter meeting in posh hotel at Waikiki, "...The gathering at one of Waikiki's most prominent beachfront resorts will be a first for the RNC, which for years sidestepped requests by its Hawaii members to bring its winter meeting to a warm climate. "The concern was appearances," said Travis Thompson of Maui, an RNC member from 2000 to 2008."  Apparently appearances no longer matter. Proof positive that partisan politics is a matter of smoke, mirrors and whatever looks good on the evening news, not real concern for the welfare of the people who work and contribute to party hierarchies play days

I read this Article in the Local News Module on My Comcast Home Page

I read this and wept.  How, in todays economic state can this happen?  I have compasion for those in dire need.  This may sound cruel and heartless what I'm about to say, I don't mean to give that impression and I hope I don't offend anyone. How can we raise so much money for other countries that are in a grave situation, such a Haiti?  60 channels on TV Friday night and again tonight to raise money for the Haitian people but we can't help our own people in need??  Tell me hosestly, am I wrong?

Bin Ladin Actually Dumber Than Obama and Bush COMBINED!

I know it seems incredible, but the doofus Bin Laden is actually dumber than the combined physical intelligence of Bush and Obama!  How is this possible, you might ask:  Right at the point in time when American baby-boomers were about to take control of the Palestinian injustice of imposing Israel on its homelands in 1949 -- remember, "baby-boomers" are those individuals born between the end of World War 2 (1945) and the practical onset of the Cold War (1952) -- the Idiot Bin Laden chooses to launch terrorism against the United States on September 11, 2001.  This action effectively ends any chance of unilateral American escalation of this issue to the United Nations -- THE venue that actually imposed the state of Israel upon the Palestinians in the first place!  One must recall in the first place:  it was the United Nations mandate of Israel within Palestine, and NOT an independent state -- some people think Great Britain; some think the United States; it's neither! -- that created the state of Israel.  There are actually some people in the world who are stupider than the average American public education student; strange as that may seem.  So here comes Bin Laden and his band of merry suicide bombers, poorly trained airline pilots, dismally trained ship captains, and 'fagedaboutit cooks, and kills the very object of his own consternation!  And now he calls himself the savior of the Palestinian people! He's the reason that Palestine isn't an independent state today!  Had he not practically ordered the continuation of Palestinian suffering throughout the world's population of sympathizers to their cause, Israel might now be back within its 1967 borders; its capital would again be Tel Aviv; and the independent state of Palestine would again be established, with ITS capital of Jerusalem! I think Bin Laden is an Israeli undercover operative, and is thus individually responsible for the continuation of suffering of the indigenous Palestinian people of the Middle East!  GOD REST THE LOVING SOUL OF HIS EXCELLENCE YASSIR ARAFAT -- the true savior of the Palestinian people.  PS:  I am an American Baby Boomer, and I will collect $25 Million dollars for handing Bin Laden's head to any NATO military agent.  Bin Laden, you stupid ignoramous -- do the world a favor, and kill yourself!  YOU are responsible for the continued suffering of millions of peace-loving and democracy-responsible Palestinians.  These are God's chosen people, and YOU have caused them irreparable harm!  Just shoot yourself in the head -- it will cost me the US$25M, but it will be worth the view!
