That pesky salt issue

I am starting this thread because people don’t seem to know: reducing salt absolutely reduces shelf life. FAIRTAX

Just yesterday, I was following a thread about the IRS.  There was so much fussing and fighting that the administrator shut it down.  Why all the fuss?  Has the subject of taxes or the IRS ever put a smile on your face?  The sad events of the recent crash of an airplane into an IRS office building shows the frustration of the American people with our current system.  I pray for the folks effected by this tragic event.  There is an easy answer.  Our entire system needs to be deleted and the FAIRTAX system put in place.  This is a national sales tax put on goods and services and if implemented would solve our deficit problem and but the burden of taxes on everyone equally.  No matter what you do for a living, how much you make, where you live, or any other factor, everyone would pay the same tax.  The consumer based tax would equally tax all legal and illegal income and legal citizens and illegal aliens.  The size and scope of the tax divisions of the federal government would be reduced and save huge amounts of money.  April 15 would be a regular day.  Another point I want you to consider.  Being a consumer based economy would guarantee that congress would do everything in it's power to keep consumers spending.  You can bet they will.  Do not listen to the half truths of the naysayers.  Take a minute to go to fairtax.org to see the way it would benefit you and the benefit to our nation.   My only question is why haven't we put this into place already?
