Is it just me, or when you hear bout these cases of people getting fired over social media like this: http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/05/12/social.media.work.rants/index.html?hpt=C2 Do you think 9 out of 10 of the people who get fired are being idiots who deserve it (especially if they are doing things that SHOULD get them fired then post about it)? The vast majority seem to be people being stupid and getting in trouble for it.

worst hotel stay ever
on may 6th 2010 my wife, son, and myself left huntington, wv. 3 hours less we arrived at "not to be mentioned hotel". We checked in to our room and were unaware of any water problems or services being done at that time

punished for doing what was ordered by manager
Does anyone know of a law that protects an employee that has done something wrong, but was intructed to do so by the supervisor? I know the military offers that protection and would think that would apply in the civilan world. I do have the manager on voice mail telling me to do it and basically threating if i didnt.

Place: Local Grocery Store In September of 2008, I resigned from my position of five years at a local grocery store chain over an alleged incident (the alternative was being fired). Upon resignation, I drafted a contract which was signed by the manager and also signed (witness) by my union rep at that time.
