Grocery Coupons

I am a coupon clipper and have been for years. With the economy as it is today, whats up with manufacturer coupons?  Did you ever notice there are more coupons for regularly purchased pet supplies?  Human food coupons are not what ordinary families would normally purchase.  Would like to see more ordinary food coupons.Like cereal, bread, dairy, staples like salt, flour beans.

If you are against healthcare reform, you can afford to have your head examined

The same people that tried to convince you 911 had something to do with iraq, are now trying to convince you to be against health care reform, its the saddest thing to be against, the same people against health care, if they saw you dying in the street, would call an ambulance, demand you be sent to a hospital an treated, reguardless if you had healthcare, or it would bankrupt you or if you had a preexisting condition, so why shouldnt that be legal, thats the practical side of the arguement which is also supported by the tactical side of the arguement, it will save lives and money for all taxpayers, the insurance companies will have competition, monopolies are anticapitolism, premiums would decrease, and the budget deficit will decrease, there is a downside, if we do nothing, we will bankrupt the economy, lets be more productive instead of partisan, so we all win instead of all lose, except people who get paid to keep this arguement going.

Tax credit in jobs bill not enough to spur hiring?

“A business is not going to bring on a new employee, with the very significant expenses that go along with that, for a tax credit of several thousand dollars,” said Mike Elmendorf, New York state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, a trade and lobbying group for small companies, in the story at Business Week. “We need tax reductions not tax incentives,” said one business owner. “The tax credit for hiring is a nice thought, but it’s not going to fix the economy

John Boehner Rep Ohio (Op Ed)

"My Constituents Care Way More About Political Gamesmanship Than Jobs, Health Care, And The Economy"  Read more at: http://www.theonion.com/content/opinion/my_constituents_care_way_more?utm_source=onion_rss_daily "Trust me: If you talk to an unemployed, uninsured mother of two in Greenville, she'll tell you that jobs and reliable medical coverage come a distant second to the crafting of meticulous talking points that deftly omit the facts and reduce what should be honest discourse about our country's future to a series of contrived, easy-to-digest sound bites designed to sway crucial independent voters. ...." sam

united states and chinese relationship (sic)

I think there is something terribly wrong with this country.  We have let the bankers and insurance people along with the rich run the country.  They care only about money and not what is best for the country.  Lets take the subject at hand shall we?  The people of the usa have let our jobs go overseas to a country which is certainly no friend of ours.  Why should we give china favorite trading status?  They are taking our jobs people.  We are supporting their economy at the cost of our own.  Lets not mention the level of spying on ALL levels the chinese are doing in this country.  In the military and also in private practice.  We need to repeal favorite trading status for china NOW and take the counter measures necessary to combat the spying they are doing in this country.  They are not our friends they are the enemy.

Now that the 2400/2700 page bill is DOA

Until Dems get serious about actual cost cutting measures this bill is DOA....Unfortunately, yesterday was exactly what many predicted...A show-nothing more..Anytime a Republican touched upon Facts and Substance it was ignored.....The American people understand all too well that this is a dangerous piece of legislation and will not tolerate the dems ramming it thru...did you notice how anytime a Republican actually read a line item from the bill itself, Obama or another Dem became irritated?   Why do you suppose they would get angry and try to divert from the facts?  The most humorous sob story was from Senator Slaughter; "the woman had to wear her deceased sisters dentures   blah blah blah.......we are paying these people's salaries and perks and that's all they can come up with to support the government taking over 1/6 th of the economy....That is why they will be voted in 8 plus months.....
