A message from Israel about Obama And Palin.

http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Article.aspx?id=168501 .  " US President Barack Obama is an inept, incompetent leader. More than his failure to pass his domestic agenda on health care and global warming despite his Democratic Party’s control over both houses of Congress, Iran’s announcement on Thursday that it is a nuclear power and has the capacity to produce weapons-grade uranium is a testament to Obama’s feckless incompetence

Liz Cheney’s Al Qaeda 7

While it’s unclear whether it’s been Dick Cheney’s health problems or relatively low profile in recent weeks, but the left side of the blogosphere hasn’t had much to say about its Republican bête noire lately. So imagine the relief when another member of Cheney family decided to step into the breach: “Nine top political appointees at the Justice Department previously worked as lawyers or advocates for ‘enemy combatants’ confined at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, prompting new questions from Congress and conservative critics about the integrity of the administration’s handling of detainees,” reports Richard A

Stupak appears with Greta VanSustren on her show, "On the Record".

Stupak showed Greta 8 documents generated by the US Congress, two of which was signed into law by BHO, with a law all in common to all 8 of them, "No Federally funded abortions". In both written and verbal communication he let it be known quite clearly that the language used in any of those 8 documents in regards to the non Federal funding of abortions included in the health care bill, he would then vote in favor of it

The Real Cost of Obamacare: Dissecting the Bill

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704548604575097602436388116.html?mod=WSJ_hp_mostpop_read   At his press conference yesterday, Mr. Obama claimed that "my proposal would bring down the cost of health care for millions—families, businesses and the federal government." He said it is "fully paid for" and "brings down our deficit by up to $1 trillion over the next two decades." Never before has a vast new entitlement been sold on the basis of fiscal responsibility, and one reason ObamaCare is so unpopular is that Americans understand the contradiction between untold new government subsidies and claims of spending restraint. They know a Big Con when they hear one...one of the most egregious deceptions is that the bill counts 10 years of taxes but only six years of spending...What Mr

Sen. Bunning’s tactics were uncalled for….

There are many people through out the country that have been on unemployment for longer than they anticipated.  Stalling an extension on the eve of it's expiration was just cruel.  I lost a friend on December 12th....he commited suicide.  Why December 12th you ask? Because his unemployment claim form stated he would not be receiving any further benefits after that date.  Had he waited just another week or so he would have received a new letter stating the new extension was passed and a check would be mailed by December 29th.  But by Congress delaying things back in Nov/Dec 2009, information from EDD went out regarding expiration of benefits.  It's not fun being on unemployment.  It's hard to pay your bills, buy food, pay rent or mortgages.  For those out there that think it was right what Sen

PRESIDENT’S HEALTH CARE PROPOSAL (full text of address)

During Obama's health care summit last week, there was agreement between Republican and Democratic representatives that our health insurance system needs reform to stop costs from skyrocketing for individuals and employers.     - Many Democrats from Congress have supported a public option or single-payer system as the most cost-effective approach, although others have been considered.   - Republicans have argued for  tort reform to reduce malpractice claims and insurance and against a public option, preferring to keep insurance in the private sector.  They've also argued for tax credits as a way to improve affordability for those who can't afford care.  - Both sides at the summit seemed to agree that the current practice of insurance companies to look for ways to deny coverage to people based on "pre-existing conditions" was a problem that should be corrected.     In an attempt to find a compromise between the approaches, Obama is proposing a compromise plan for consideration by Congress

Rangle Requests Leave of Absence?

"In order to avoid my colleagues having to defend me during their elections, I have this morning sent a letter to Speaker Pelosi asking her to grant me a leave of absence until such time as the Ethics Committee completes its work on remaining accusations against him, Rangel said at a hastily called session with reporters." Is there such a thing as a leave of absence from Congress?
