As reported by Radio Netherlands: "In 1980, Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger - the Pope's real name - agreed to transfer a paedophile priest from the northern German city of Essen to Munich in order to undergo therapy. Without his knowledge , the priest was assigned to work with youths in a parish in Oberbayern and later abused another child. He was convicted of child sex abuse in 1986.
