Rehiring Discrimination? Need Advise Please
Hello, This is my first time on these boards. I have an issue that I would like advice on I'm not sure if I have any standing to do anything. Thank You in advance I Worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store for 4 years and during those 4 years I was a exceptional employee, I was always there when my manager needed me and I hardly missed a day in my last 2 year they even promoted me to 3rd key and gave me responsibility of opening and closing the store and again I was a great employee no complaints about me never any money issues

Physically ill from harrassment
A new young employee has twisted facts to say that I had spoken unprofessionally and hint towards breaking confidentiality rules. I had not and rebutted his claims and clarified as twisting my words including saying things I did not say. I asked him to get his facts straight and accurate before emailing me his complaint.

favoritism/unfair treatment
My main question: Is it legal for a company to offer and provide specialized training only to certain employees, but not to others who have the same job description and function, which will provide those employees with additional skills that will clearly give them an advantage in securing future positions and/or projects, or obtaining advancement within the company? The people that the training is not being offered to are not minority, disabled, etc

I work at a performing arts center at a private university in Tennessee. I was brought on in October 2009 as a part-time employee with the promise that there would be full-time opportunities in June 2010, the start of our new fiscal year. Even though I am labelled as part-time, I work full-time plus hours sometimes 10 days at a time without a day off
