Do you really want the US to become like Texas?

Vote for Jon Huntsman. His state, Utah, was FIRST in job creation, Utah reached unemployment levels of 2.2%, and it was named by Pew Research Center “The Best Managed State in America”.

  1. Nice list. z

  2. not bad, but 0bama took America from 0 to schit in less than 3 years!!!

wally the sheep, that list is from msnbc and only sheeple tend to parrot msnbc!!!!

  3. lol, I see you’ve been reading Soros Propaganda again.

You dig into that list, you’ll find Soros lies and half truths.

I don’t really like Perry that much without really knowing him that well. I think he’s got a progressive sellout in him, but that list is pure propaganda crap.

  4. #1 Governor for weakening environmental laws that turned a nice state into a stinking miasmas of pestiferous effluvia .
#1 enabler of the zionist agenda of greed of wall street , corporations , and the bankers .
i will vote for a president and congress that salutes a flag with FIVE pointed stars , not his six .

    utah # 50 ( dead last ) in % of population of hebrew heritage . coincidence ?

  5. Support those claims if you want to be believed. Although I doubt that you can support more than a few for obvious reasons.

  6. I really don’t think anyone can make private industry hire if it doesn’t see the need.
Huntsman is a decent candidate, but he won’t make a ripple in the extremist state of the Republican party.
As to the rest, I have relatives in Texas, they snort when they hear Perry’s name they think he’s a phony.

  7. Hey, stop making fun of perry, what did you expect from a man that got almost all Ds in college, including intro to economics (the only economics class he took)

  8. I’ll take Huntsman over Perry any day. In fact, if the GOP will give this independent voter John Huntsman as their candidate then the GOP will get my vote in 2012. If they nominate Perry (Bush II) then I will be forced to vote against Perry even if that means voting for a failed president like Obama.

  9. Sounds like the place where the best can thrive and the poor get what they deserve for making rotten choices that keep them poor.

  10. ~The above was an ad for Jon Huntsman for President.

Just kidding. But it should be.

Great facts, I’m not used to seeing those around here.

  11. you should consider that many of those numbers your reporting involve people who cross the border to collect there welfare check and aid for dependent children at there post office box. In other words they don’t live even in the us.
Gee i wonder how those poor texas get by maybe you should take all your jobs down there and oh by the way make sure you pay your employees 25.00 and hour. but considering Obama shut down oil drilling on shore and off i am surprised that TEXAS is not doing even worse.

  12. •Over a majority of the jobs added in Texas are low paying or at minimum wage
Hey they are jobs. Minimum wage only reduces supply of labor.

Texas budget deficit is ranked 3rd highest in the nation at 27 billion!
I don’t like Rick Perry. Though Texas is a large percent of the entire US GDP. Texas can also stand as it’s own nation, and has. Take Texas’ debt as a percentage to what Texas contributes, and it is small compared to what the rest of the US contributes vs it’s own debt. Which is upwards of 80% of GDP. Most of the debt accumulated by any state is that of Federal mandate. I am sorry, but the states would not spend the money if they where not forced to by federal law.

•Texas makes up 12% of all state debt in the US but only 6% GDP
In 2008, for the seventh year in a row, Texas led the United States in export revenues. Texas exports for 2008 totaled $ 192.2 billion In 2002, the Port of Houston was 6th among the top sea ports in the world in terms of total cargo volume; Texas has the 15th largest GDP in the world. It is just a state, not a country. Texas is 8-14% of US GDP. Depending on stats you look at.

As for spending on social endeavors, of course, why do you think it has such a low unemployment rate. Pay people not to work and they wont. Tax people who produce, and they wont. Simple human nature has not changed. Path of least resistance.

I voted Kathy Glass for governor. I don’t like Perry and never did, and the fact that Texas is doing well is despite his intervention, not because of it.

  13. I thought you were going to ask about him cutting firemen’s jobs 70% during record wildfires and praying for rain and getting none. How can anyone in their right mind support this guy????
