  1. Never heard of ‘em. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t legitimate.

If you want to know for sure, you can always check one of the insurance ranking organizations like AM Best , which rates insurance companies based on their financial strength and ability to pay claims.

  2. call the better business bureau

  3. Never heard of them. But there are THOUSANDS of agencies in each state.

Are they legit? Go to the office, see if they have a state property casualty license hanging up on the wall. They’re supposed to be in the office.

  4. If you want to check out whether a company is licensed in your state, it is best to check directly with the state of Michigan. The website for you to look this up is http://www.cis.state.mi.us/fis/ind_srch/ins_agcy/insurance_agency_criteria.asp

I checked and the Agency is licensed. You can check other agencies at the same website.

The only thing is that I also viewed the website for Look Insurance Agencies and they state that they are an agency that specializes in non-standard or high risk insurance. Basically people are placed in the non-standard or high risk auto insurance market when they have a bad driving record, youthful and/or inexperienced driver, etc. If you have a good record and otherwise do not fit this criteria, I suggest you try to obtain insurance in the standard market through an independent insurance agent.

    Good Luck
