Why is it that the driver's first thought was to call the police when the car started speeding up? Put the car in Neutral!!! He had enough time to get his phone and call 911 but couldn't take the car out of gear? It would have reved high, but the brakes would have slowed the car and he could have pulled to the side. But I guess then he wouldn't have gotten all the media attention

Who pays for all the surveys?
Every day I hear the results of some ridiculous survey on TV-Stupid topics like --do women like potato chips better than men?--or if you wear the color green, it means you are calm---of course, these are just made up, but you all know the nonsense i am talking about. Now today, in the mail, i get an envelope telling me that soon i will be getting another envelope for the Census. Could they just have saved the stamp, and let me know i was getting it when i actulaly got it? I don't need the notification that I am going to get it! Who pays for postage for all of this nonsense? Oh, and by the way, in my envelope, there were two other notifications for other addresses, so i guess those poor people won't know they are getting the mail, till they actually get it, cause I am certainly not going to waste a stamp sending it to them
