My credit scores are 667 TU and 640 EQ. I'd like to buy a car, so I asked the Acura dealer that I can be qualified for auto loan, and she said that my credit history is too short ( 1yr 11 months) and lack of auto history ( actually I have a bike, Harley Davidson which priced $10,000). Is there any possibility that I can get car loan for real?

Applying for new loan immdiately after paying off old loan
So here it goes, I just sold my motorcycle which payed off my loan. I was wondering if it is best to wait for the loan to be updated on my credit reports or just go ahead with a new loan app immediately since I read that a score can lower after payoff. I have a nice chunk of change for a down payment but don't know if I should wait a month or just go ahead with a new loan now. Please help. Thanks

I will be finished with my car lease 8/10.Currently my FICO score is 604 but it dropped 81 points after Toyota Motor credit mistakenly reported a 30 day credit marker which should be removed within the next 30 days. On 2/2/10 they sent out the correspondent to all 3 CBs of which Experian and TU have removed the marker... Still waiting on Equifax

Question about financing through credit union/bank instead of dealer..
I am looking to purchase a used car but I currently have an auto loan now and I am unsure how the process would work if I get my own financing instead of through the dealer. How does it work if you currently have an auto loan?
