I own a 2000 dodge neon with about 120,000 miles on it.
Out of the blue the transmission started slipping….BAD.
I checked the fluid and there wasn’t any. I put in a quart and it was still slipping badly. I stopped and looked and trans fluid was leaking from under the front part of the car big time.
What is most likely the culprit and what will it cost me to get it fixed?
Should I just buy a used or rebuilt trans and have it installed?
I am currently screwed cause I can’t get to work.

Floods in the Northeast and droughts in the Southwest.

Why can we make a system where we could take the water from flooded areas and use it to areas that are in severe Drought????

Hi All,

I am a RE investor and landlord with 5 years experience.

I was recently asked by a friend who is a passive investor to find a superb property for him for a fee: consult on the topic and lead the entire process from property search till closing.

This will include more work and due diligence than an average RE agent.
The main reason is I will look for a Plex and he is also a friend so I am more motivated personally to find a truly superb deal (at least same effort as I would put looking for a property for myself!). Also, the process will include arranging a mortgage, insurance, reviewing tenant acknowledgements and many other docs. – items not included in the service RE agents provide.

This might take 3-6 month of work to find a superb property meeting all my friends’ criterias.

What would be a reasonable consulting fee for this type of service assuming a property value/price of around 750K (say fifteen Plex)?

Does a fee of $ 20,000 sound reasonable?

Thanks & Regards,
Neil

I lost one card and the content paper and now I have no idea which card I lost. Can someone please leave the contents in detail such as the cards(# of that card). Clearest answer is best answer.

So I just moved into an apartment where about 408 residents live there and it is a pretty big building. I moved out of my parents house and one thing about having a house is you dont have to worry about other people forgetting to turn off the stove but thus in a building, every tenant has to be responsible I am sure but lets say that if one tenant forgets to turn off the stove (because one or a few) may forget or may have alot of fire hazards in their room, the fire will affect all of us and the building may burn down!!! Thats one thing I am worried. How would the landlord know where the fire is coming from and which room? How can we be sure I am safe living in a apartment on my own without taking a risk worrying about if other people may cause a fire? I am not the only one living in the building so if there was a fire, it will affect everyones safety in the building! And if it were to blow up, how would I get my house back and stuff back? Do I need life insurance or have to have some proof if I lose EVERYTHING?

This toilet is really cheap and the inside was not working properly. One day he will just keep running and much of the house was damaged and must be repaired now. How did you find out if, in Nevada, the owner must provide temporary accommodation while on the walls, ceilings and carpets will be replaced over. There are sounds of fans running twenty-four / 7, ceilings and drywall is emptied on. Owner said he could do to six weeks to work. I know that when a pipe is damaged in my house, the insurance company gave me temporary accommodation, if it had no water or heat, but I owned the house.

I’m renting a vehicle in Phoenix, AZ (Fox Rent a Car). Under it’s policies, it states ‘In Phoenix, vehicles are supplied with liability coverage that meets state minimums. The renter is financially responsible for all damages not covered under the liability policy including, but not limited to the FOX rental vehicles full value.’

Do I have to purchase the liability protection that they offer if it’s already insured? Just wondering. Thanks!

I’m purchasing comp/collision through travel guard.

I paid for a house from a kid , and close on it Monday. 2 of the kids friends still live there. These kids aren’t happy that were buying it ( were fearful they will cause damage to the house), The previous owner already got tickets from the city for having trash in their yard because of them and i dont want tickets in my name because of them and i have paid for 3 months of insurance on the house already . Since we now legally own the house and they do not have a signed agreement with us Can we evict them ? do we have to give them thirty days notice since we have no lease or even verbal arrangements? what is the best way to go about getting these scum bag kids out of my house quick as possible? i live in missouri and these kids arrangements would have ended with the previous owner. any help is appreicated thanks!
The people in the house have no written agreement with the previous owner since they were all just friends living together at the time . they have done damage to the house previously ( holes in wall and damaged windows) were worried that they will cause further damage.but the kids have no lease no written agreement with the seller or myself .

So 6 years ago my son married. Both work full-time descent + 1 part-time employment. 4 years ago, they decided to buy a house and worked with his “good friend” of a broker, get a loan. They had $ 10 000 for a down payment. I mean, the house she paid for more than $ 180,000 after all was said and done, we went to celebrate their new home and my husband asked for its speed (or something), she proudly declares that they will receive 2 credits. The first was $ 30,000 7% down payment (added to their $ 10,000) funded and then another resting place at 6%. My husband and I just kind of saw himself feel like OH OH ????? We thought you were there programs for first time buyers. It sounded like a good friend, and drove them from the FHA. Now I could be wrong, but I? Here’s the thing. Both loans are killing recently, Wells Fargo (and not their lenders) have called them and they have to refinance all excited. Ultimately, they were informed by the two loans, and now that their home is less than what they have is worth it. they are pretty well screwed. You are always means to pay all their bills, but I’m worried how long. they fight. They also have two credit cards maxed to meet an emergency medical expenses, which came. So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? help with all of this out there, I think there was a way to combine the two mortgages at a lower interest rate. Or is the Wells Fargo right, and they are screwed
