Yes, insurance companies must convert their industry, but it has happened before and will happen again. They were put in front of NASA to integrate and make a profit … We would colonize Mars in a century or two. Use your imagination on what could the government do, if they do not need to expand the tax money from begging. Accountants wonton slowdown in spending and efficiency experts would streamline operations . Please do not listen to others, or even me … to think for themselves. So next year I am moving to Massachusetts from Florida. I do not want to. Right now I am crying, honestly. It causes so much disagreements between my parents and me, and my mom was just yelling at me and calling me bad names because I said that no one will want to move to MA with her (she is not abusive; in fact she wants to move partly so I can benefit from colder weather, snow, better schools, non flatness [mountains] etc. Also, better jobs and no pre-existing conditions in medical insurance.) But I do not have the willpower to move. I honestly am not suicidal, but sometimes I feel like I do not want to live anymore. I am 13, and next year I am starting high school (i’m now in 8th-last year of middle school) I was already beyond terrified to go to high school here where I live, and I mean irrationally BEYOND terrified (of everything in high school, from avoiding drugs and bullies, to how to apply for honors classes, to when I will get my schedule and what if they forgot to send it to me, to even how I will find my classes [my middle school is only 300 people and on the first day i have trouble finding my classrooms. In 5,000 people, i dont know what I would do....]) Anyway, in a new state all the way across the country, I am almost fearful of getting grey hair from the anxiety and fear. That is how bad it is. I have heard that in Boston all the girls are so mean. How will I make friends? Do I just approach someone’s lunch table at lunch and be like “Hi. I’m Maria. I just moved here and I don’t really know anybody. Can I sit with you guys?”? Also, I am a good student but I don’t know the teaching styles of Massachusetts. And how can I just leave my home, home city, friends, landmarks, places, the beach, etc.? I have been to Boston and honestly I hate it. I apologize for my harsh opinion, but everything there is so old and brick-y (historic? ew) and winter and fall is FREEZING. The only winter I like is the nice South FL winter. Also, no pools, beaches, etc. I also just hate the place. The atmosphere is so not me. When I was 2, I moved from Europe to Florida. I don’t remember, but my mom tells me that when we first moved here, I asked her and my dad every day when we will go back home (now I’m crying again…) I don’t remember it in my brain, but I remember it in my heart, If I have to relive that, I don’t know what I will do with myself. I just can’t. I really, really, really can’t (Now I’m really crying hard) Just the stress, shift for the worse, and leaving everything that I love, and reliving what I had to go through makes me feel like I don’t want to be alive anymore sometimes. I am optimistic generally, and I know I should make the best of everything, but I… just… can’t. I am a shy person, I worry and have fear of the stupidest things, and I hate shift (probably because of my heart’s memory of moving to FL. I still honestly feel like my life would have been better if we had stayed in Europe.) I am not selfish. It’s not that I hate MA; it’s just not for me. I am honestly a very, very nice person and I respect everything. I want my parents to have better jobs and have insurance, because that comes first, but Ijustcan’t. What should I do? My mom really wants to move to MA, while my dad, like me, hates shift and does NOT want to move (he, in fact, did not want to move to America.) My parents fight a lot (verbally), and sometimes it gets really really bad so much that now my mom does not ever want to travel (as in vacation, dropping my sister off to college, etc.) with him. But I now that my mom definitely wants him to move with us. Also, with experience, how is/was high school for you? I only asked a few questions in this whole story, but I would appreciate if you could just help me with some advice on things that I told you. I find it amusing that most feminists deny the many, many acts of bigotry committed by mainstream political (MP) feminism as personified by the activities of organizations such as NOW and AAUW (as opposed to “arm-chair” feminism, which mostly believes in equal rights and well-meaning decency but will rarely stand up for men’s rights when they are being trampled), so I thought I would compile a list of the top ten and see if Yahoo readers can expand on it. I will expand on each of these (with extensive documentation – which is a fair and reasonable demand by arm-chair feminists) in later posts, but first let’s generate the list: (I list 5 here, and another 5 on my next post so that this post is not too long)
1) Divorce Law and Practice: It is well documented that men have little possibility of equal, shared or predominant custody of children in nasty divorces. NOW has actively campaigned opposite EVERY state legislative bill to correct this (bills that would force judges to presume shared custody is best for the children unless there is substantive evidence otherwise).
2) Education: In the early ’90s AAUW published statistically biased “research” that purported to show that girls were getting the raw end of the deal in public education. Ignoring the fact that no boys were included in their “studies”, fundamental AAUW-inspired changes in K-12 education have led to clear and largely unchallenged evidence of boys getting the raw end of the deal in education. Despite that, AAUW continues to effectively campaign opposite any changes that would correct this.
3) Medical Research: Female specific medical research has outstripped male-specific research every year for the last 100 years. And the disparity grows. There are now 5 Offices of Women’s Health in the federal government, and 6 more if Health Care Reform passes in its present form. There are ZERO Offices of Men’s Health. Yet men die younger in EVERY major category of death. NOW and other feminist entities have successfully, over the years, continued to lobby for increasing this disparity AND preventing an Office of Men’s Health.
4) Public Health: From prevention of sexual mutilation at bieing born (often called circumcision to make it sound “nicer”, well over 99.99% of the victims are male), to prevention of occupational deaths (93% of these are male), to support networks for the homeless, those threatened in someway, and the mentally ill (female-specific support centers outnumber male-specific support centers by more than 100:1), to laws about medical insurance coverage, sexual violence and other violence prevention laws, men get the short end of the stick. NOW, more than any other entity, has been extremely effective at building this disparity.
5) Domestic Violence: While everyone knows that female domestic violence shelters outnumber male domestic violence shelters by more than 100:1, how many know that well over 50% of male complaints to police about domestic violence from their partner lead to the male’s arrest (rather than the female perpetrator)? And then, of course, it is quite amazing and amusing to hear feminists say that (i) men are getting equal protection under the law and (ii) that the lower number of male legal complaints proves that most domestic violence is perpetrated by men. NOW and VAWA-related political entities have been VERY successful at preventing men’s shelters and spreading misandric, patently-false statistics in this area.
OK–that is the first five. Five more will follow on my next post. Feel free to add to the list or criticize it. And, of course, I realize that MP feminist bigots will slam the above. I look forward to their best shots.
All the banks, insurance companies and shopping malls doctors office, lawyers office are flooded with women and minorities. We need reverse discrimination with signs saying no women no minorities.
We are looking to refinance our mortgage. We had a bad experience with a mortgage attorney the first time around. Aside from the BBB, are there any websites where I can find others’ opinions/experiences with mortgage companies?
Having received some offers already, there are a few which look too good to be true. The majority of the offers so far are at the same, somewhat higher rate (which seems to be the normal rate for our area). I just want to do some background research on the few companies that are offering the lower rates before we accept one of them.

If your house is damaged into and vandalized like the trashed the LR and spray painted your entire kitchen including the countertops does home owners insurnce fix that; we have had alot of mangle ins in our area with gangs and its hard to understand my policy; would I be means to replce my cabinets or would I have to repaint them because i dont have the time to do it all; i have a policy with 25k personal property and 50k for the dwelling; how does all of this work; i am working on getting an alarm but someone already pennyless in and stipped it all; any help would be appreciated; thanks

their attorney didn’t put in 2007 or 2008 taxes. They where told to move those in in 10-14 days (which they did) and he would put it through. Wonderful Right? Wrong. The following week My brother in laws company put him on a “on call” list as he’s a local trucker. His hours won’t go back for 8 weeks. As that is when the new management in his firm takes over. So until the first of June they are only living off of what my sister brings in every 2 weeks and what he brings in every week (if he gets called in). So far he worked 2 days last week and 3 days this week. So my question is, What do they do about their house. They don’t want to lose it. But at least till June money is super tight. Besides to move out means putting money in a mobile home to rent that right now they dont even have that. My brother in law is scared that if they tell their bankrupcy attorney. He will advice them to lose the house. But, in June he will start to move in 600.00 take home if not more a week. They just need to get through May. They are so lost they don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any advice for them I can pass on? Please no smart a answers. This is very serious. My sister has been in a deep depression for over a week over this. They dont have any medical insurance as that went by the wayside a while back when the company was hurting after the first of the year. Please please someone give them some good advice. I know how corrosive salt water can be, and after asking experts they all say the same thing, it’s no good. How do I get them to total it? Do I need to get a lawyer?
I have comprehensive coverage so flooding and all natural disasters are covered. They just insist on not paying to replace my car. It’s now a rust bucket and they know it.
i am going to buy a second hand car next week privately. i want to know if insurance is required once i have paid for the car and drive it back home. if it is how am i supposed to the insurance, say i done the insurance beforehand and then went to buy, but did not like it then what happens
