My roommate and I moved into our rental home in August. It is now mid October and we have discovered black mold. Since we moved in, I have been sick, he has been sick and his dog has been coughing. We have had skin rashes, chest pains and loss of breath. We first were under suspicion of black mold when the dry wall ceiling came down in the garage after a rain storm. We called a repair main that did interior and he said that we had black mold. He showed us where is was all over the sheet that fell down. His suggestion was to inspect and determine further. I called my landlord to ask for his insurance company and he said that he did not have one. This is unfortunate because they would have sent out an inspector and possible fixed it for free. However, he refused to send anyone out and said that all he would do is replace the dry wall that fell. At this point, I am very concerned with my health and financial situation. If I have to move out at a moments notice, it will clean me out pretty much. What options do I have here?

My job causes me to relocate almost yearly; as a solution to packing up and starting over in a new house, I purchased a houseboat. I live here with my 3 big dogs. My question is, when I move to a new marina, is there a possibility of some having something similar to a homeowners association? Do I have to be worried about them having rules opposite my dogs and loud barking?

I need a lot of counselling and/or medication, but I have no insurance and can’t afford any of it on my own. I really think I’m bipolar or borderline, as someone who has been diagnosed as bipolar says I act the very same way she does when she’s not on meds. My emotions are so crazy. Little things infuriate me, I dwell on the little unimportant things. Sometimes it can be debilitating, I lose my appetite, don’t want to do anything at all. I become very self-destructive (not necessarily suicidal) but my actions get out of hand and sometimes can be very occasionally violent towards others, but it is so difficult to control. I need help but have no means to go about it. Can anyone offer some advice, please?

sometimes it covers you even when you are away from home. My husband’s phone was stolen at a concert on Saturday, does that sound like he would be covered under renters insurance? I thought when we paid for the phone AT&T put insurance on the phone, but they didn’t, so I was just trying to see if Renters insurance covered it. I know when I got it a few years ago an representative stated if I was robbed just walking down the street it would be covered so I don’t know really.
yeah I am about to call him, but I wanted to make sure it is a possibility that it could have been written that way, I just didn’t want to sound like a complete idiot to him. Oh well.
