I have always taken Lexapro and had amazing results. Due to a shift in my insurance, my doctor prescribed me Citalopram instead. The first few weeks I actually felt more depressed and anxious then normal. The problem that bothers me the most is that I have had a constent pressure in my chest. I do not know if this is a side effect? I almost would compare it to a panic attack pressure were I feel like something is sitting on my chest, but it is every second of every day since I started. It has been about 3 weeks now and I wanted to let it build up in my system more before I threw in the towel. Has anyone else experienced this problem with this med? Emotionally, I feel alittle more like myself everyday. It is just the chest pain that worries me. Please let me know if this is common.
My husband and I are getting ready to list our house for sale, and are getting it ready to stage. Before I buy items for the house (like artwork, plants, candles, etc.), I was needing to know if these items are expected to stay with the house or will we be means to take them with us? Also, any ideas for staging the house would be quite helpful. We have already decluttered everything, taking down all personal pictures, magnets, etc. We have painted everything neutral and cleaned it up inside and out.

Here’s my theoretical (and sci-fi type of) question:
Lets suppose I have an insurance on my house that covers damage due to “Acts of God” (natural and weather-related disasters, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, etc) but doesn’t covers any damages due to “Human Acts of Destruction” (destruction due to belic engagement, acts of terrorism, war-related attacks and/or casualties, etc).
One night while coming back home from a neighbor’s house with my family (the house is empty of people), an UFO (flying saucer) descends from the night sky and destroys my house with a beam of light. No one gets hurt, nor any of the neighbor’s properties are affected by this. All of the neighbors surrounding my house are drawn out of their houses because of the initial UFO noise descending upon my house, and witnesses to what happened to the hopuse as well as of the UFO ascending back to the night sky and dissapearing. They are all awesome neighbors (yeah the story also has some fantasy in it) and all offer to testify with the truth of what happened if needed.
The Government denies any involvement on What happened, so the UFO cannot be considered something that can be linked or associated with the Government. It is clear what happened wasn’t exactly a natural disaster, and since there are no declared wars with any outer space aliens, nor any knowledge they are commiting any acts of terrorism or waging a destructive bulletin on earth, it cannot be connected either with “Human Act of Destruction” (and since aliens from space are not human, they can’t even be labeled under the “Human” classification).
So, if you were the person to decide over this weird case, should what happened be considered an “Act of God” or a “Human Act of Destruction”?
PS. Yeah i’m bored… REALLY bored!
I am looking for someone to come in and give a price for everything and haul it off. Please help! All suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I am purchasing a peice of property and a modular home that is not new, it is maybe 10 years old. I am doing the whole owner finance/contract for deed deal so I am having to pay 120,000 for the place. I think it is worth less. But hey, that is what bad credit gets you. Anyway he said I would have to buy homeowners insurance and I asked how much and he said 120,000. This home itself without the land especially is not where near worth 120,000!!!! Why would I need that much? And if something happened to home would it be right for insurance company to pay 120,000 for a 10 year old modular home. May be even a little older for all I know but it is not 120,000!!!! What is the minumum that I should get? I don’t have much money and never had homeowner’s insurance.
It is not being loaned on by a bank. The owner is financing it to us.
Waiting to repair our credit really is not an option because we live in a 2 bedroom mobile home with a 4, 3, and 1 year old. We live in the ghetto of a small town in a trailer park. I have to get out of here NOW!!!! It is not safe.
I’m trying to figure out how much house I can afford using an online calculator but it’s asking for an estimate of the yearly property taxes and insurance and I have no idea what the amount is. Is there a percentage I can use?
Sorry, I meant Los Angeles not Louisiana
I am considering making myself bankrupt because I am pregnant and due to go on maternity leave anyday now so all I will be living on is maternity pay. I am currently on a debt management scheme where I pay 100 quid a month (all my debts rolled into one) but thats the lowest repayment I can do a month. I currently rent a house with my partner and we share a car which he pays the monthly fee (we had to take out a loan for the car but he pays it back to his parents – they paid the loan off) on that. All our money goes on each month is rent/council tax/water/electricity/gas/loan/debt management/car insurance/fuel/food/contents insurance etc. We have literally hardly any money left over and this is only gonna get worse when I go on maternity. We could do the easy option and get a council house but I dont wanna scrounge. Would it be easier for me to make myself bankrupt so that will be 100 quid less a month I will have to pay and that will come in handy for the baby?
Dwelling coverage only – not personal property or liability coverage. Apartment-style condo. Responsible for drywall inward (each unit has its own executive air, furnace and tankless hot water heater within the unit). No lender involved, so I get to set the amount. My research so far has indicated a range from $ 10,000 (way to low if my unit was gutted by a fire) to the full purchase price (which is too high since this includes builder profit as well as my pro rata share of the entire building which would be covered by the Homeowners Association’s insurance).
the thing is that i do live in fl. and because of the age of my moblil home my representative said there was nothing they could do. she even cancelled hers because she couldn’t afford it. i have no morgage payments so that helps. i just remoldeled, bathroom, new appliances & new windows. twelve yrs ago i was paying 400.00 a yr for ins. last yr it went up 200.00 then this yr 200.00 and it will keep going up as my representative said as long as we have these hurricanes. i only have 20.000home,10.000personal property,4.000 additional living expence,25.000 personal liability & 500.00 medical payments to others. 800.00 a yr for not much coverage makes me frustrated. and still gonna go up. thanks for listening.
