mothers day?

I need help, The last 40yrs. was no problem, but I had one brother who died this year, How should I sign my mothers day card? Should I just sign my own name or should I sign I & my brothers name??  Please give me some advise, I don’t know if it will hurt her if I do or hurt her if I don’t. I’ll take any opinions. thanks john
